
Charters-Rentals - Our Fleet
Our 10 privately owned and maintained sailing yachts range from 35ft. (6 guests) to 52ft. (12 guests).
During the high season (June through August), charters run on a weekly basis from Saturday (3pm embarkation) until the following Saturday (11am disembarkation).
Charter Booking Process
Step 1: Choose Your Charter Type

Bareboat Charter: You sail the yacht yourself. Requires a valid sailing license and experience.

Skippered Charter: A professional skipper handles the sailing. Ideal for beginners or those who want to relax.
Step 2: Select Your Yacht

Browse available yachts by:

Size (e.g., 40ft–50ft)

Number of cabins/berths

Amenities (AC)

Step 3: Choose Your Dates

Decide on your check-in and check-out dates.

Most charters run Saturday to Saturday during high season (May–October).
Step 4: Submit a Booking Request

Fill out an inquiry form/contact us directly.

Step 5: Confirm Availability & Receive a Quote

We will confirm availability and send a detailed quote.

The quote includes:

Yacht rental fee

Skipper fee (if applicable)

Security deposit amount

Optional extras (if applicable)

Step 6: Review Terms & Make a Deposit

Review the charter agreement and cancellation policy.

Pay the initial deposit (30% up to 50%) to secure the booking. The balance 3-4 weeks prior to arrival.
Step 7: Prepare for Your Trip

Submit required documents:

Bareboat: Sailing license + crew list
-
Skippered: Crew list + passport copies

Arrange transfers to Alimos Marina (30–40 min from Athens Airport).

Plan your itinerary (Cyclades, Saronic Gulf, etc.).
Step 8: Check-In at Alimos Marina

Arrive at the marina on your check-in day (usually Saturday afternoon).

Complete the check-in process:

Briefing on the yacht

€2000 refundable security deposit

Inventory check

Safety instructions

For bareboat: You’ll do a technical handover and sign off.
Step 9: Set Sail!

Once everything is in order, you’re free to begin your sailing adventure through the Greek islands!

Payments are secure and made directly with the owner of the SailGreece yacht fleet....no intermediaries exchanging funds. When it's time for you to book, a payment link will be provided.
